Thanks, Jean! My cats aren't crazy about having their photos taken; they tend to close their eyes in anticipation of the flash. So, I was lucky with these shots.
I just don't see the cat in you. Plus your cats don't wear glasses. Luckily, it's love that makes a family. And that part is very clear in the pictures.
Michael, this made me smile. My Ada has a wonderful full gaze which sometimes reminds me of a dog, actually. I might try this. But I really want to say is: what a beautiful family.
These are wonderful. They remind me of the extremely detailed etchings of eyes--both animal and human--that Jan Peter Tripp made for "Unrecounted", his book with W.G. Sebald.

This is absolutely wonderful and finding it has made my day!
Alas my feline familiar and I do not have the same colour eyes.

Thanks, Tamarika! Yeah, I'm pretty fond of my cats. Pretty lucky, too.

p.s. Jean sent me here.
Hi Teju,
Thanks so much for your kind words, and for taking the time to stop by!
All the best,
Michael
Ha! Clever. But, in this case at least, pets do not look like their owners.
This is true. But we think along the same lines. ;)
They are nice photos.
Your picture composition is wonderful.
I think you have beautiful eyes:)
Kozy-san, you're so sweet! Thank you!
