Funny that you mention that album. I've had it practically since it came out, yet every time I'm tempted to pop it into my CD player, I catch myself, put the disc back into its case and put it back on the shelf.
Similarly, I used to love Lou Reed's "Magic and Loss," but haven't been able to bring myself to listen to it in several years. There's still some things in my life that need to be reconciled, thought through, accepted. And music has a way of arousing such powerful emotions in me.
Very powerful, indeed. These photos and thoughts are provoking, but not so where it makes you timid...it actually makes you feel alive at that moment...
