Just another couple of anonymous ghosts from my collection. A lock of the wife's hair has been put under the cover glass as a keepsake. A moment of wedded bliss, frozen in time.

Silly little comment, but I think it's cool she had hair the exact color of mine.

Not silly at all. The thing that makes the Civil War period so alive for us today is that we have photographs of the actual people who made history and lived through it. Can't say that about the Revolution.
