Memo to myself

"If you cannot find the truth right where you are,
where do you expect to find it?"
Master Dogen Zenji

My deepest thanks to Anu for reminding me of this.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.

I love that quote...

It can be applied to so many facets of life...

Hi LB,

Yes. This quote makes me confront myself. It's often not a pleasant encounter.

Nowhere! You can't find truth. It does not exist.

Hey Anonymous,

To a great extent, I agree. The truth keeps changing. It's very subjective. Mortal man claims proprietary rights to it. Julius Caesar did. Hitler did. Napoleon did. George W. Bush does.
On the other hand, Truth is all-encompassing and doesn't care whether you accept it or not, because it knows it will get you in the end. Just try to outrun it.
