I remember laughing myself to pieces as a kid every time "The Three Stooges" would come on TV, and my poor father trying to break me of this habit by attempting in vain to get me to switch channels to this goofy, brand-new show called "Sesame Street"...
That's an easy question for me to answer: My favorite TV show (thank you, TV Land!) is "Sanford & Son," starring none other than Fred G. Sanford, and the G stands for guffaw. Redd Foxx was a genius. Did you know he's mentioned in "The Autobiography of Malcolm X"? Apparently, he was a dishwasher (and a very funny one) in some restaurant before he got into show business, and that's when Malcolm X knew him. I also like "The Real World" on MTV, because watching that show makes me glad that I'm almost 44. What a bunch of mo-rons! It sure is fun to watch, though.
