I encountered the dog on one of my walks and couldn't resist taking the picture. I thought all the reflections going on would make for a neat photo. If memory serves, I think this was a hair salon that was closed for the day. Why there was a dog inside is anyone's guess.
Thanks for your good wishes! I use a Canon IXY Digital 30a, which was given to me by a friend when I revisited Japan in 2004. This model is unavailable in the U.S., but the Canon Powershot SD-110 (I think that's the model number) is nearly identical. I like it because it's the size of a pack of cigarettes.
