Hi LB,
Please let Jinxy down easy: Tara already has a boyfriend, Yasashi, my male cat.

Hi Greensleeves,
Yes, Tara is much better at zazen than her daddy (me).

Yum! Aren't cats wonderful? I don't know what I'd do without mine.

What's the meaning of Tara? Fish? He or She has very good impression on me.

Hi Kitty,
Yes, cats can be quite a comfort.

Hi Miki-san,
Tara is the Tibetan Bukkyo version of Kannon-sama. Tara is the youngest of my three cats, and she is also the dominant cat in the house.

Tara means kannnonsama! Her hace is very calm and gentle like Kannnonsama.Did you go to Chugu-temple in Nara? (http://www.horyuji.or.jp/chuguji3.htm) There are Miroku Bosatu. When I met her in my junior high school days,It was a breathtaking statue for me.

Thanks, Lone Wolf!

Hi Miki-san,
Yes, that statue of Miroku is one of my favorite pieces of Japanese art! I love the position of the hand.
Nara is such a beautiful place.
